Cameesa - The Blog

Greg Lemarche

Written by Viktor on September 2nd, 2008

What inspires me most about Greg’s work is his refreshing use of typography which is at the core of his compositions. A brilliant graffiti artist his collage work is equally as stunning. Although influenced by collage artist such as Kurt Schwitters and Joseph Cornell I think his approach differs dramatically in his clean aesthetic, bold forms and vibrant colors. Greg attributes his proficiency in both mediums to his dexterity and attention to detail.

“Although an X-Acto and a spray can are very different tools, they do demand dexterity while at the same time capturing a hand-done sensibility.”

-Greg Lemarche, August 2008 Issue of Print.
